Radio & Podcast Production Studios in Central London
For radio ads, podcasts, podcast filming, radio links, documentaries and round-table discussions, with editing, mixing, mastering and remote guest connections.
Since 1993 we've recorded presenters, voiceovers, contributors, commentators, radio links and documentaries from our Central London studios, a stone's throw from BBC Broadcasting House.
From flagship round-table discussion programmes and chart-topping podcasts to radio ads, branded content and live broadcast links, we've recorded, edited, mixed and mastered countless hours of speech-led audio.
All six studios can host podcast voice recording, vodcast filming and round-table discussion sessions, with an in-house engineer focused on speech clarity and smooth running.
Our TV Studio and larger rooms can be dressed for podcast filming, panel discussions and presenter-led content, while smaller rooms suit single-voice podcasts, presenter reads and scripted voice work.
Radio production often comes down to performance, pacing and intelligibility, so our engineers pay close attention to speech capture, clean editing and delivery-ready mixes.
We support short-form and long-form radio work including ads, trails, documentaries, continuity, comms records, interviews and station-linked content from booking through final files.
Our larger studios can accommodate multi-voice round tables and discussions, with configurable talkback and routing to keep sessions efficient.
PODCAST EDITING & MASTERING
We can supply podcast audio in the formats your production team or platform needs, from WAV and MP3 through to AAF, OMF and PTX, with timecoded transcripts when required.
We can sync camera footage to your studio recording, tidy speech, remove distractions, balance contributors and prepare finished mixes and masters for broadcast or streaming.
If you want help planning microphones, remote contributors, room choice or delivery, our team will talk it through before the session.
If you are planning a podcast, filmed podcast, radio programme, branded series, guest session or speech-led production, we can help you decide on the right room, recording setup and production approach.
Our MD and Founder, Geoff Oliver, began his career many moons ago at BBC Radio - qualifying from the intensive residential training course at Evesham before being deployed as an engineer to BBC Broadcasting House and a post in live broadcasting covering Radio 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Fast forward to the 1990's, and following several years at the BBC and stints in independent radio, Geoff founded The Sound Company studios on the principle of providing exceptional customer service, motivated by his own experiences of running a Radio and TV Production company.
Over the years the Sound Company studios has grown to include 7 sound studios within our spacious building at 23 Gosfield Street, each with its own distinct character, and all of them capable of the highest standards of technical excellence.
